What is Salvation?
Salvation is one of the promises of God to all believers. The purpose of salvation is
to restore your relationship with God through the forgiveness of sin. Our sin
separates us from God and the consequence of sin is death.
Salvation is God’s way of providing His people deliverance from sin and
spiritual death through the repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. You are saved
from the “wrath”, that is God’s judgment of sin (Romans 5:9)
The Bible says there is only one way to Heaven
Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man
cometh unto the Father except through me." (John 14:6)
Good works cannot save you.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of
yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should
boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
